General conditions of sale for stays in Guest House VILLA ELIZABETH

Article 1 – Duration of the stay

The client, signatory of the present contract concluded for a given period, may under no circumstance prevail himself of any right to an extension of his stay.

Article 2 – Booking validation

Booking is considered as firm only after reception of valid Credit Card information
Or after the Deposit of 50% of the total bill by Bank Transfer (to “Villa Elizabeth” – Mrs VOLLEREAUX)
Or online payment on the website: www.villa-elizabeth.com
To transmit Credit Card Information or to pay a deposit implies the acceptance of the present General Conditions of Sale for Guest Rooms.
For Internet bookings, upon reception of your booking validation, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to you with the details of the booking, representing the valid contract.
In the case of phone booking, we will confirm the reception of your deposit by e-mail or text message.

Article 3 – Cancellation by the client

Any cancellation must be notified by registered letter or email with acknowledgment of receipt sent to the owner.
Cancellation before the beginning of the stay: Cancellation Policy
We require 30 days cancellation notice prior to your scheduled arrival date.
Otherwise, we will charge you a cancellation fee as below:
– No charge if you cancel 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date
– 30% of your total amount will be charged if you cancel from 30 to 21 days prior to your scheduled arrival date
– 40% of your total amount will be charged if you cancel from 20 to 8 days prior to your scheduled arrival date
– 75% of your total amount will be charged if you cancel from 7 to 2 days prior to your scheduled arrival date
– 90% of your total amount will be charged if you cancel 2 days prior to your scheduled arrival date

If the client does not show up or calls before 9 p.m. on the first day of the sojourn, the present contract becomes void and the owner may rent out his guest rooms.
The deposit remains the property of the owner who reserves the right to claim the payment of the remainder of the full price of the sojourn.
In case of a shortened stay, the price corresponding to the cost of the rooms remains the property of the owner. The extra non-consumed services will be refunded.

Article 4 – Cancellation by the owner

If, before the stay, the owner cancels the booking for reasons beyond his control, he shall inform the client as soon as possible by telephone or e-mail and propose a replacement bedroom of an equivalent standard of comfort.
If the client does not agree with the replacement solution, without prejudice of possible lawsuits for costs and damages, he will be immediately refunded of the sums paid.

Article 5 – Arrival time

The client must arrive on the day specified when booking and at the times indicated below.
The rooms are available from 4 p.m. onwards. Please notify us in case of arrival after 7:30 p.m.. Beyond this time, please contact us.

Article 6 – Departure time

The rooms must be vacated by 12 a.m.; beyond this time an extra night will be billed.

Article 7- Remainder of the bill

You will be requested to pay the remainder of the bill on departure.
Extra services and beverages not mentioned in the present contract will be settled at the end of your stay.

Article 8 – Tourist tax

The tourist tax is to be paid directly to ”Villa Elizabeth”, according to the official rates.

Article 9 – Bedroom change

The owner reserves the right to change the bedroom initially booked by the client by a similar or larger bedroom, without any possibility of claim by the client. In such a case, the owner shall notify the client and the price of the booking remains unchanged.

Article 10 – Capacity

The present contract is established for a specific number of guests. If, on the day of arrival, the number of persons is higher, the owner may refuse to house the extra persons.
This refusal may under no circumstance be considered as a modification or a breach of contract by the owner, so if a higher number of persons than those refused leave the hotel, there will be no refund.

Article 11 – Pets

Pets are not accepted in « Villa Elizabeth ». If this clause is not respected by the client, the refusal to accept pets and their owners by the owner of the guest rooms may not be considered as a modification or a breach of contract by the owner, so if the client leaves, there will be no refund.

Article 12 – Savoir-vivre, use of the premises

The guests are requested to respect a normal savoir-vivre to ensure the quietness of the hotel and the comfort of its guests. Moreover, guests are asked not to smoke or eat in their rooms. The guests must respect the instructions posted in the rooms and in the present general conditions of sale.
The client shall return the rooms in a perfect condition at the end of the stay and to declare and be financially responsible for any possible damage during the sojourn.
Children housed within “Villa Elizabeth” are under the sole responsibility of the adults in charge, notably when using the playground in the garden.
The kitchen is not available to the guests.

Article 13

– The present conditions of sale may be modified at any time without prior notice. The acceptance and compliance with these conditions of sale are deemed as accepted at the date of booking validation

Article 14

– In compliance with the French law dated 6 January 1978, you have a right of access and modification of your personal data.
“Villa Elizabeth” shall not transmit any personal information you may have communicated to any other companies or organizations.

Article 15 – Notice

– Our promotional offers may not be cumulated.
– Conditions, rates and offers are not contractual
